So Grateful for our amazing Cornwall Community!

Posted

I am writing to express my heartfelt gratitude and extend my sincerest congratulations to the entire Cornwall community for making this year’s Fall Festival such a remarkable success.

Despite the ongoing bridge construction, you turned out by the thousands to shop, eat, and stroll through our amazing festival. Thanks to your incredible support, we were able to host a record-breaking event with 160 vendors, showcasing the best of what our local businesses and artisans have to offer.

This festival is more than just an annual event; it’s the major fundraiser for the Greater Cornwall Chamber of Commerce. The funds raised enable us to organize other community events free of charge for residents and visitors alike. These include the upcoming Cornwall Spooktacular (October 27th), the Annual Cornwall Car Show, Cornwall Goes Green Recycle Day, and our Summer Art Walk Series. Moreover, these funds allow us to sponsor or contribute to other community events and charities throughout the year.

I also want to extend a special thanks to the incredible volunteers from Cornwall Central High School, New York Military Academy, and Storm King School. Your enthusiasm, hard work, and commitment were essential to the success of the festival, and we couldn’t have done it without you.

I want to thank Canterbury Brook Academy of the Arts, Main Street Music Studio, Gina Ferrari and Friends, RockSlyde and The Frozen Peaz who kept the crowd entertained throughout the day.

A special thanks also goes to the Town of Cornwall Police Department and the Department of Public Works for ensuring that our event was safe and clean, as they do every year.

Finally, I want to thank each and every one of you who came out to support our vendors and local businesses. Your participation is what makes this event truly special and allows our community to thrive.

Once again, thank you for your unwavering support and for making the 2024 Fall Festival an event to remember.
