The Friends of the Newburgh Free Library are excited to bring back their annual book fair.

All sales from the Book Fair benefit the Friends of the Newburgh Free Library who support the library in its mission to inform, inspire and connect our community! The Friends of the Newburgh Free Library (established in 1967) are a group of dedicated volunteers who work to promote the importance of books, cultural activities, and libraries, for people of all ages.

This year the fair will take place Sat., July 10 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Montgomery Street behind the Newburgh Free Library (124 Grand Street). Most paperback books cost a $.50 cent donation and most hardcover books cost a $1 donation.

That same day there will be an outdoor concert at noon in the Newburgh Free Library Plaza, One Fine Tapestry a Carole King Tribute with Gerald and Diane Barros. Come hear Gerald and Diane Barros, a husband and wife duo, cover some of Carole King’s best known hits, as well as a selection of chart toppers that she composed for other performers, like: The Beatles, James Taylor and more! Seating will be limited to promote social distancing.
