Newburgh City Council approved a purchase order agreement with Springbrook Holding Company, LLC to add 20 KVS software subscription licenses for a three-year term at a cost of $15,000.

City Comptroller Janice Gaston explained the resolution during the city work session on Thursday, April 4. “KVS is our accounting software platform through which we do our AP [accounts payable] system to pay all of our bills, generate our checks,” said Gaston. “It hosts our general ledger system where we do all of our balance sheets and things of that nature as well as our billing, where we invoice for certain things.”

Gaston further explained that the city would now have double the licenses and this purchase order agreement would help with additional information storage.
