Town of Lloyd Supervisor Dave Plavchak extends a warm invitation to all Town of Lloyd seniors to join in a morning celebration in honor of National Senior Citizen Day. The event will feature a special breakfast gathering at Bob Shepard Highland Landing Park on Thursday, August 24, from 9:30 to 11 a.m.

To ensure the caterer has an accurate headcount, attendees are kindly requested to RSVP by Monday, August 21. Seniors can RSVP by either calling (845) 691-2144 ext. 119 and leaving a message with their name and telephone number, or by sending an email to SeniorInfo@townoflloyd.com with their name and contact details.

At last week’s town board work session, Plavchak issued a proclamation recognizing August as Senior Citizen Month and asking all citizens to “give them the honor they justly deserve.”
