Nobody does a German Festival quite like an Italian-American organization.
Get ready for a day of food, fun, and festivities as Marlboro UNICO proudly announces the 3rd Annual Italian Oktoberfest, taking place on Sunday, October 1, from 12 to 4 p.m. at the stunning Benmarl Winery and Vineyard, nestled at 156 Highland Avenue, Marlboro.
Tickets are $50. Children 12 and under are free and do not need a ticket. IDs will be checked at the door.
The menu consists of: Marinated Flank Steak, Linguini with Clam Sauce, Sausage and Peppers, Bratwursts, Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, Sauerkraut, German Potato Salad, and German Cucumber Salad. Pretzels with dipping sauces will be served throughout the event on tables. Fresh, homemade apple cider donuts and coffee will be served for dessert.
With your ticket, all beer and cider is included from the beer truck. This will include an Oktoberfest beer, a light beer, and cider from Locust Grove Brewing Company in Milton. Benmarl Winery will also have a table to purchase wine by the glass.
Organizers will be hosting a “Stein Holding Competition” where the top female and male participant will win a cash prize! The entry fee is $20 and includes a glass stein souvenir.
Raffle tickets will be available to purchase to enter to win a baskets stuffed with a variety of prizes from supporting local businesses.
All monies raised by Marlboro UNICO are given directly back to our community through various donations and scholarships.
