On Saturday, July 17, Recreation Director Stephanie Doland arranged for an Ulster County Sheriff K9 Demonstration. Officer Silowsky with K9 Farrell began the demonstration with basic obedience exercises. To the delight of the crowd, K9 Farrell joined the kids for a fun petting session. Next, Officer Frano ran K9 Hydra through a series of police work exercises. Thank you to the Ulster County Sheriff’s Department K9 Unit for a fun and informative demonstration.

At the July 21 Plattekill Board meeting, former Recreation Director Stephanie Doland submitted her final monthly recreation report along with a thank you letter to the town. Thank you to Stephanie Doland for many years of dedicated service to the town. You will be truly missed.
