Arboretum plant sale continues

The annual plant sale hosted by Friends of the Orange County Arboretum continues through June 5.
Complying with CDC guidelines, there will be online ordering with curbside pickup. Appointments can also be made online to tour the greenhouse to personally select plants. No more the 2 people per appointment.
More than 150 annuals of plants are available to go from their nurtured home in the Kosuga Greenhouse to yours. There are currently huge hanging baskets, vegetables, succulents, coleuses, sweet potato vines, colorful black eyed susans, perennials, and petunias available with everything 10 percent off. Check back often as species become available and others sell out. Annuals, sun and shade perennials, succulents, herbs, non-GMO tomatoes, shrubs and an amazing assortment of blooming hanging baskets all nurtured by Friends of Orange County Arboretum volunteers.
All funds raised at the sales are used to help the “gardens grow” and to offer educational programs throughout the year. Purchases can be paid by credit/debit card. Walk ins are welcome.

The Orange County Arboretum is operated and maintained by the County Parks Department in cooperation with the advisory Friends of the Orange County Arboretum, a non-profit (501-C3). The Arboretum is located in the County’s Thomas Bull Memorial Park in Hamptonburgh off State Route 416. The gardens are open to the public free of charge from dawn to dusk year-round. The 35-acre facility is a natural site for the organized display of trees, shrubs, and plants. Visit OrangeCountyArboretum.org for more information.
