City now accepting online payments for water/sewer bills

The City of Newburgh is pleased to announce that customers are able to make online payments for water/sewer and sanitation bills. Secure payments can be made through the City of Newburgh website using a credit or debit card.

The payment portal can be found on the City of Newburgh website at www.cityofnewburgh-ny.gov. Click Online Payments found on the landing page. Payors who are not able to use the online payment option may continue to mail payments, pay via phone, or visit City Hall to pay in person.

Customers who use the online payment method have the option to create a personalized account to track activity, but an account is not needed to make payments. Customers can access their amount due by searching an account number or customer name. A number of card types are accepted including Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.

Online payments are made possible through the City’s contract with MuniciPAY. Online payment options for school and property taxes were made possible in 2020 to the public.

People who have questions about making online payments are encouraged to call the City of Newburgh Collector’s Office at 845-569-7330.
