On Wednesday afternoon at approximately 1406 hrs. City of Newburgh Police Officers were notified by a resident that gunshots had been fired on Broadway in the area of Carpenter Avenue. A male detained fleeing the area was determined by investigators to have been one of two intended victims. Both were uncooperative and did not provide any information to assist investigators.
