The Chapel Field girls’ soccer team suffered their third straight loss to start the 2023 season with a 4-0 loss to the Highland Huskies on Thursday afternoon at Highland Middle School.

Sophie Valentino led the Huskies with three goals, and Sadie Hollifield added one.

The Lions have played one game per week to start the season. They opened the season with a 9-0 loss to John S. Burke Catholic on September 14 and then were beaten 7-2 by S.S. Seward on September 20.

They will play three more league games before they open their Orange County Interscholastic Athletic Association Division VI schedule on October 12 at home against the Eldred Yellowjackets.
