The Town of Crawford will kick off the holiday season with its Town of Crawford Country Christmas and Holiday Celebration, an annual tradition that will be held on Saturday, December 2 at 86 Main Street in Pine Bush and will feature food, music, and activities galore.

From 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., the Pine Bush First Fridays Committee will host its monthly First Friday in Crawford Square, highlighting several local vendors and their wares. Starting at 3 p.m., a tractor parade will roll through Main Street, followed by performances from Not Just Country Line Dancers at 5:15 p.m. and the Pledge of Allegiance led by Boy Scout Troop 37. Between 5:30 p.m. to 5:45 p.m., the town’s Christmas tree will light up, brightening the night sky and dazzling all passersby.

Throughout the event, the Pine Bush Lions Club will offer refreshments and host holiday crafts, help children write their wish lists, and collect clothes for its pajama drive. The Pine Bush UFO and Paranormal Museum will host a gingerbread house contest and open its gift shop for all to browse. Additionally, the Town of Crawford Toys for Tots will be accepting toy donations and the Pine Bush Central School District will host a book giveaway.

Santa Claus, a resident of the North Pole, will take a break from his schedule and visit Pine Bush during the event, giving children the chance to tell him what presents they want this year.
