Kenneth R. Kessler, who resided in Charleston, Arkansas, formerly of Pine Bush, New York, passed away Monday, June 21, 2021, at Greenhurst Nursing Center in Charleston. He was born July 27, 1962, in Middletown, New York, to Herman A. Kessler and Marion Schrempp Kessler. He was 58 years old. He was preceded in death by his father, Herman A. Kessler.

Kenny became disabled due to an automobile accident many years ago. He attended Pine Bush High School in Pine Bush, New York, until relocating to Ozark, Arkansas, in 1992. Kenny has resided at Greenhurst Nursing Center in Charleston since October 2015. Kenny was a steadfast friend and a lover of Ford Mustangs, classic rock n' roll, and country music. He enjoyed playing monopoly, dominoes, arm wrestling, thumb wrestling, and many other games. He will be missed by everyone who knew him.

 A memorial service was held on Thursday, June 24th, at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston., with Deacon Kenny Stengel of St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Ratcliff officiating. Cremation and services are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Charleston.

He is survived by his mother, Marion Kessler of Charleston; a brother, Karl Kessler (Gloria) of Pine Bush; his nieces, Sarah Kessler (Brendan) of Albany, New York, and Mckenzie Kessler of Pine Bush; his cousins, Valerie Fitch (Mark) of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Christie Mahl (Mike) of Branch, Arkansas, Mary Palarino (Cynthia) of Seattle, Washington, and Danny Palarino of Branch, Arkansas; and several great family friends and caregivers, Lisa Green (Evan), Deleen Bradford (Rick), Natalie Foster (Chris), Jan Wurst and Alaina Morris, Judy Lounsbury, and Liz Wiley.

On behalf of the family, we'd like to express our heartfelt appreciation and gratitude to the caring and wonderful owners and staff of Greenhurst Nursing Center who provided the best care and support for Kenny that a family could ask for over the last five plus years. Also, many thanks to Mercy Hospice for their support, care, and guidance.
