Pine Bush Senior Citizens Club. 1 p.m. Town of Crawford Town Hall. Open to all Town of Crawford Seniors, aged 55 and older.

Changing Hands Thrift Store. 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. Bullville United Methodist Church, Route 17K & 302, Bullville. 845-361-3032.

Thursday

Senior strength. Starting in 2022. Thursdays; 1 - 1:45 p.m. Classes are $3, and are hosted at The Crawford Government Center, 2nd Floor, 121 State Rt. 302, Pine Bush.

Greetings, Pine Bush residents! As we embrace the month of February, love is in the air, and we’ve got exciting updates and events to share in this month’s community column. Please mark your calendars and take note of the important dates ahead!
Upcoming Events:

• Happy Valentine’s Day and Happy St. Patrick’s Day to all! Spread the love and joy throughout the month.

• Daylight Saving Time begins on March 10; don’t forget to set your clocks ahead one hour.

Community Gatherings:
The Pine Bush Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary invites you to their Easter Flower Sale on March 29 and 30 at the firehouse (2405 Route 52, Pine Bush). A delightful variety of flowers awaits!

The next Board of Education meetings are scheduled for February 27 at Circleville Middle School and March 12 at Pine Bush High School (both at 7 p.m.).

Pine Bush School District will be closed from February 19 to February 23 for February Recess. Additionally, there will be a half day for Parent/Teacher conferences on March 7 and 8 (dismissal at 11:30 a.m). Spring Recess is from March 22 to March 29.

American Legion Post 1308 meets on the first Thursday at 1 p.m. and the second Thursday at 7 p.m. All veterans are welcome! For inquiries or building rental, contact CDR Dan Dambrozio at 845-636-3177 or ddambrozio@yahoo.com. The post is located at 4 Martin St., Pine Bush.
Library Happenings:

• Join in the fun at the library with pinochle on Mondays, Scrabble on Tuesdays, Bridge on Thursdays, and knitting/crocheting on Mondays.

• AARP tax season is under way every Friday until April 12. Call 211 to set up an appointment starting January 17. The community room will be closed until 2 p.m. on Fridays.

• Library challenge: Read a book with the word “snow” or “snowman” in the title, then share a picture of your snowman or nature’s snow sculpture.
