The New York Blood Center will conduct a blood drive on Tuesday, August 3 at the Wallkill Fire Department, 18 Central Ave., Wallkill. Hours are 4 - 8:30 p.m.
Donors will receive a voucher for a free breakfast at the Fire Department. Breakfasts are normally served on the first Sunday of every month.
Appointments are preferred. Walk-ins will be accepted if capacity permits. To sign up, call 800-933-2566. Please remember to eat, drink and bring your donor ID card or IOD with your name and photo.
Donors must wear a mask or face covering. They must be at least 14 days symptom free if recovered from COVID-19 and will not be permitted to donate if they’ve had a positive diagnostic test or experienced COVID-19 in the last 14 days. Donors will have their temperatures taken at the door.
