The Hamlet of Wallkill will once again be celebrating the holiday season. Save the date for Vision of Wallkill’s Holidays in the Hamlet event on Saturday, December 2 from 3 - 7:30 p.m. Kick off the holiday season and bring your family and join your neighbors as you stroll the lawns at the library and town hall. Enjoy holiday music with our DJ and performances by choral groups from our schools. Watch the Tree Lighting and meet Santa. Be sure to have some cash on hand for the locally curated artisan vendors along with food vendors. You will want to nosh and sip while you shop and be merry. Vision of Wallkill encourages everyone to shop local and shop small.

Residents have started to deck their homes and business, front yards and sidewalks so they Sparkle & Shine. There is still time to put up your lights and inflatables to be a part of the Sparkle & Shine contest, but all must be done by December 3. Judging will take place December 4 - 9. The residential categories are Traditional, Creative and Motion. We will also select the businesses with the best decorations and holiday spirit. Do your part to make the town bright and beautiful and post your photos on Vision of Wallkill’s Facebook page. (You may include your address if you choose.) Winners will be announced by December 14.
