O’Neill’s varsity football team fell to Spackenkill 20-13 at home on September 21, in front of a crowd decked out in red, white and blue.
Quarterback Mathias Williams rushed for 167 yards in the game, with two touchdowns on 11 carries – he had two touchdown carries, 39 and 81 yards respectively. Emry Callahan had 37 receiving yards. The Raiders had four turnovers; one was a fumble, three were interceptions.
O’Neill will be playing in front of their home fans again this week when they take on Monticello at 7 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 28.
With the win, Spackenkill moved to 2-1, while O’Neill fell to 0-2.
